Steps when hiring a marquee
So you’ve decided you would like to have the freedom to choose how to set up your event, what to do now?
Where?

Will the marquee be on grass or on paving is another question as we can then know if we will need pegs into the grass or water drums to secure the marquee. If your back garden is small with a swimming pool, Domino’s can cover the pool with sturdy flooring and build the marquee on top of it.
Seating
The next decision to make is how you will be accommodating and seating your guests. The choice between served dining, buffet dining, informal cocktail or theater seating will affect the amount of space you need to cover and will determine what size marquee is needed.
With regards to a served dining, rectangle trestle tables take up less space than the more formal round 10-seater tables. The size of the marquee needed will also vary if you plan on adding any other amenities such as a dance floor, stage, buffet or bar area.
Draping and Lighting
Marquee draping and lighting turns your event into something extra special. Draping can consist of full draping where the roof and sides are all draped in a material or colour of your choice to create an intimate yet glamorous affair.
Swags and strip draping allows you to add detail to only certain parts of the marquee such as the roof beams and side poles.
